The third objective is to make futures testable. IDE Earth should allow communities to sketch scenarios, simulate consequences, explore trade-offs, identify missing voices, and red-team their own assumptions before turning ideas into action.
A proposal should not only ask, “Can this be built?” It should also ask, “Who could be harmed? Who is excluded? Who owns the data? Who pays? Who decides? What happens when this succeeds? What happens when it fails?”
