The **fifth objective** is to protect privacy, consent and agency. IDE Earth should assume that civic imagination often involves sensitive information: identities, locations, relationships, children, communities, conflicts, care needs and political hopes.
The interface should therefore be designed around permission, provenance, reversibility, minimal disclosure and meaningful consent. People should understand what is being shared, with whom, for what purpose, and under whose authority.
